Continental Contitech Fabchem® Chemical Transfer Hose

Most Versatile Chemical Hose on the Market

Continental’s Fabchem® 200 PSI chemical transfer hose features a Pliosyn™ (UHMWPE) ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene tube and EPDM cover. This is the most versatile chemical transfer hose available and has an A rating for almost all chemicals.

Fabchem® Applications

Handles majority of all common industrial chemicals in pressure, gravity flow and suction service.

Specifications

  • Construction Tube: Pliosyn™ ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). Special UHMWPE cross-linked polyethylene tube reinforced with plied cord, steel wire helix. Green corrugated abrasion resistant cover.
  • Cover: Green EPDM Synthetic Rubber (wrapped impression), corrugated (wrapped impression)
  • Reinforcement: Spiral-plied Synthetic Fabric with double wire helix
  • Temperature Range: -40°F to 212°F (-40°C to 100°C)
  • Manufacturer: Continental Contitech (formerly Goodyear)
  • Couplings: Continental Insta-Lock™, Campbell ChemJoint™

McGill Hose is proud to have been recognized as a Continental Contitech Hose STAR Distributor. McGill Hose has been honored to receive this award each year since 2004. This distinction is awarded to Continental Contitech Distributors that are dedicated to fabricating the highest quality hose assemblies. Each distributor is verified by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., and must be able to supply any location across North America. Most importantly, distributors must be members of NAHAD Hose Safety Institute and produce samples that adhere to NAHAD and ARPM / RMA hose fabrication guidelines.
