Where These Connections Live
Everything between the CDU and the cold plate is where McGill's rack-level products operate. On the secondary side of the CDU, through the rack manifold, and out to the cold plates on the servers (the technology cooling system, or TCS, loop).
One leaking quick disconnect can take a rack offline. Flat-face, no-spill couplings keep coolant off the electronics during connects and disconnects. ASHRAE TC 9.9 calls for dry-break couplings on TCS connections, and both the Danfoss FD83 and UQD comply.

EPDM Coolant Hose
- DataCryo EHW194: peroxide-cured, so nothing leaches into the coolant.
- Rated 150 PSI, -40F to +284F, compatible with PG25 glycol and water.
- Kink-resistant for tight rack routing, available 1/4" to 2" ID in stock.
- Works with push-on and barbed stems plus Oetiker ear clamps (also in stock)
- UL 94V-0 fire rating (exceeds the ASHRAE V-1 minimum)
